Update – Minor Fixes and Optimization
I have uploaded a new version of My Friendly Little Island Deluxe.
Just optimization and a couple of fixes to prepare the game for the physical release, no new content.
So, if you have already uncovered the secret of the coconut temple, there is nothing new for you to see in this version.
However, if you haven’t played the game yet or only played the non-deluxe version, now is the best time to give the game a try 😊
Here is a list of the changes:
- Shelves in shops can now be used as platforms
- Optimized the night/dawn/dusk colors of the mountain
- Fixed 1 typo
- Fixed the colors of the trunks of some palm trees in the background
- Fixed a bug that did not fully reset your progress when starting a new game after loading an emulator save state

I'm incredibly glad you're getting the bigtime payout for such a wonderful game. Kinda 'iffy producer' if the screenshot is any evidence, but I'm beyond happy your creation can come to fruition :p
You're talking about ModRetro, right? The physical release of this game will be done by retrospiel, a new publisher from Germany. Really nice guy with a small brick and mortar retro game store behind this 😊
That being said, I am indeed working with ModRetro on another release. It's a project that could not have happened without them. In my personal opinion the best game I have ever made. Hope people will like it 😅
So is it gonna be possible for US customers to get the physical?
I don't know whether retrospiel will ship to the US. But you can check their online shop and see whether you can chose your address as a shipping address and it shows you available shipping methods. That's probably the easiest way to find out.
But the physical version of this game is not released yet.
